Reinvent Your Workout Goals

Most of us have had the unpleasant experience of failing to achieve our fitness goals. The devastation of hard work and no results is enough to keep anyone from working out again.

The training program you involve yourself in did not engage or interest you, so you hated every minute of it. Take a typical cardio workout, for example. When you are on the elliptical, stationary bike, or treadmill watching TV, you don’t connect with the workout. These types of workouts leave you only partially present and your mind tends to wander half the time.

If you love tennis, soccer, swimming, boxing, etc. and incorporate one of those routines in your workout, your mind and body unite. You’d surprise yourself with the speed at which you meet those results you’ve worked so hard for in the past. Engaging in a workout with all your heart–without any hesitation–makes all the difference.

Reaching your goals becomes easier when training with a knowledgeable fitness professional. A good trainer motivates you to work hard, eat better, and become more consistent. When I take somebody under by wing, my first question is what kind of exercise and activities they enjoy most. I devise a training program that’s enjoyable, engaging, and can sustainable.

For me, your success is my reward.
